LightMass^ LED Collection.
Sculptural yet minimal in form, weight, and waste, each piece in this pendant collection is crafted from a single material that elevates interiors while minimising environmental impact. Since its launch, the collection has already received prestigious recognition, including the British Design Guild Mark, the EDIDA 2025 award for Lighting of the Yeargranted by 25 international editors of Elle Decoration, as well as the FRAME Awards First Honourable Mention.
The second LightMass^ collection presents a different take: the LED source is now integrated within the airy sculptural structure, illuminating the ethereal mesh from within. This creates a unique and beautiful connection between light and matter; one that allows the translucent volumes of LightMass^ to appear as if they float effortlessly in space. When unlit, they resemble delicate airborne line drawings; when illuminated, the mesh surface intercepts and reflects the light, transforming the sculptural forms into luminous elements that both define space and enrich their surroundings.
To realise this new collection, the structure was conceived anew, with a flat top emerging from the mesh to house the light source. The tailored mesh introduces varying levels of transparency for gradual diffusion: denser, higher-printed lines around the light source prevent glare, while the rest remains sheer and open, heightening the sense of weightlessness and see-throughness.
The collection features four pendants in a range of sizes and shapes. Thanks to the flexibility of DFM technology, each pendant can be adapted to specific architectural requirements. As no moulds are needed, new shapes, sizes, patterns, and colours can be developed for bespoke projects.
The additive printing fabrication process eliminates material waste entirely. The openwork design further reduces weight and material use, while the reliance on a single material ensures that the pieces can beeasily recycled in the future.
