Lobo is a new iconic chair by Raw-Edges for Bolzan, made of a wooden cylinder and a detachable curved soft cushion, and is all about a joyful feeling.
The soft, puffy cushion is folded and squeezed into the base, creating a continuous bendy silhouette that tells the story of this chair, a playful connection between the hard base and the soft cushioning. The cover of the detachable padded cushion can be easily replaced and positioned back into the wooden base through its specially designed side slits.
Challenging conventional upholstery techniques, Lobo rethinks the relationship between textile and structure. Rather than permanently fixing fabric to the wooden frame, the design allows the upholstery to remain adaptable and replaceable. This forward-thinking approach enhances longevity, encourages material renewal, and reflects a more sustainable vision of upholstered furniture. The chair is available in a variety of wooden colours and finishes, combined with a wide selection of fabrics.
